Ketch Twenty What???The Official 'Ketch-22.com' READMEThe Ketch 22 web site is focused on three areas of interest. The first is cruising under sail aboard Ketch 22, a Freedom Express 39 Cat Ketch, the second is tips for cruiser wanna be's and the third is contemporary photos of a variety of subjects. The low-res cruising images can be downloaded, the cruising advice is free and prints of the hi-res images in Image Magic can be purchased by contacting the Ketch-22.com "powers that be"...VoyagesThe Ketch 22 story starts after a lengthy period of time in the waters in and around the Gulf of Mexico after she arrived from Florida (somewhat bedraggled from the road dirt) in 1998 on the back of a flat bed truck. After arriving in San Francisco Bay waters, she didn't stray very far for about 6 years. However, in 2004 it must have been a wild hair drove her to sail halfway across the Pacific Ocean (and back) in the race then known as the 'West Marine' Pacific Cup "fun race" to Hawaii. With a change in sponsorship, the name of the race was shortened to the Pacific Cup, but as it was then, it is still being run in even numbered years in late June and early July. After the race, Ketch 22 spent a few weeks berthed at the Kaneohe Yacht Club and subsequently she returned to her San Francisco home-port at the time at the Oakland Yacht Club. That voyage to Hawaii started what was in retrospect, a continuing series of cruises to distant locations throughout North and Central America.Cruisers GuideThe cruising guide, is a 'cheat sheet' to learning all the things that the skipper of Ketch 22 learned over a period of several years, while cruising Ketch 22 in California, Mexico, Central America, the Atlantic Coast of the US, and the Caribbean.Image MagicImage Magic is still under construction, but it is going to be a a collection of photos taken
in various part of the world, useful for wall decor that may be of artistic interest to anyone tasked with procuring
corporate art for commercial properties, or for anyone with a general interest in the subject matter. The collection
includes compelling images of unusual and esthetically pleasing images.
